West Iron District Library parenting fair on March 13
IRON RIVER — The 25th annual parenting fair will be from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday, March 13, at the West Iron District Library.
The event features booths with information from local community organizations, prize drawings and a light lunch.
“This is a one-stop-shop for families to find out about activities available for their kids including sports registrations, summer camps, health and wellness information, art and drama, and so much more,” said program coordinator Erika Sauter.
The event is free and includes activities and door prize drawings for book collections, games and toys.
Families will also have the chance to judge submissions for the annual kid’s Lego contest.
Registration forms for the Lego contest are available at the circulation desk and submissions are due by Tuesday, March 12.
“We hope families will come to learn all about the resources our community has to offer to help their kids grow through play, skill-building, healthy habits and cultivating their imaginations,” Sauter said.
