MENOMINEE -- The Wild Rivers Invasive Species Coalition and the Menominee Conservation District are hosting two Landowner Invasive Species ID Trainings on Saturday.
The first training will be from 10:30 a.m. to noon at the Spies Library in Menominee. The second training will be 2:30 to 4 p.m. at the Belgiumtown Restaurant in Stephenson.
Both events are free to attend. A light snack and beverage will be provided. The events will feature speakers from WRISC, Menominee Conservation District, Forestry Assistance Program, and the USDA's Natural Resources Conservation Service. Topics will include ID for invasive species found in Menominee County and program help.

The Wild Rivers Invasive Species Coalition is a multi-partner organization representing five counties in two states, dedicated to managing invasive species through cooperation, education, prevention and control.
