Conditions were cloudy and cool but no rain Monday morning spoiled the annual Dickinson County Memorial Day program in downtown Iron Mountain. The event featured the Kingsford and Iron Mountain high school bands, area Boy and Cub Scouts, Uren-Cooper-Johnson American Legion Post 50 members as color guard, singing by Kevin Fraker and the Kingsford choir, and guest speaker Andrew Mendini, a veteran and principal at North Elementary School in Iron Mountain. Denise Formolo, Dickinson County Veteran Service officer, was master of ceremonies. (Betsy Bloom/Daily News photos)
