NORWAY — This week, Music in the Park continues as the Iron Mountain based band Next Myle performs for the fourth concert of the season. The free summertime music series will be at 7 p.m. Thursday at the bandshell in downtown Norway.

Next Myle was formed in 2003. The original members included: Paul Quello, Bill Bice, Kristen Nordine, Kevin Fraker and Darwyn Aberly.

Fraker remains with the band with new members Travis Ramlow, lead guitar; Steve Strom, bass guitar; Cal Coopman, drums; Marc James, keyboards.

Although the personnel has changed from time to time, the group remains dedicated to their goal of providing some of the best entertainment around. They strive to get folks “dancing in the street” and enjoying their music.

The band’s following has grown steadily, and they perform regularly at a number of regional events including FlivverFest, Hodag Festival, Niagara Lions Club Picnic, Auburn Parks Association Picnic, and many more. Next Myle performs a mixture of classic rock music, and they’ll bring a fun show to the band shell.

A warm but beautiful evening greeted downtown Norway concert goers on June 20 at the third Music in the Park concert of the season took place. Cjo and Trev, was an audience pleaser, and it was great to welcome them to the band shell.

“We hope folks that come into Iron Mountain for this week’s Out to Lunch concert with Datura, will enjoy the afternoon, have a nice dinner in the area and come on down to beautiful Band Shell Park in Norway for our fourth free performance of this summer’s fabulous series,” MIP Program Director Greg Hunt said.
