Independence Day parade grant
The Dickinson Area Community Foundation recently awarded a $500 Community Impact Grant to The Menominee Range Historical Foundation. The funds will be used to assist with the costs associated with hosting the annual Fourth of July parade. From left are Mikki Hall, MRHF secretary, and Seth Anderson, MRHF Promotional Committee member, accepting the check from Tamara Juul, director of DACF. The parade steps off at 9 a.m. Thursday at the corner of Balsam Street and Woodward Avenue, then proceeds east down Woodward and turns left onto Kimberly Avenue, then right onto Detroit Avenue to rejoin the remainder of the usual route of Carpenter Avenue, then right onto H Street to end at the Super One parking lot.
