Iron Mountain Downtown Development Authority is busy preparing for its 10th-annual Oktoberfest celebration Saturday. The event will run from noon to 10 p.m. at the Systems Control downtown stage area, across from the Dickinson County Library on Iron Mountain Street. First National Bank & Trust returns as the festival's signature sponsor. Three regional bands will perform -- The DayDreamers, Backstage Pass and Sixx Gunns Loaded. The day will also feature authentic Bavarian-inspired games, food and craft brews. The children's area will be open from noon to 5 p.m. The DDA is still in need of volunteers for its third shift.
