Motorcycle crash in Niagara sends two to MMC-D
NIAGARA, Wis. — Two people had serious but not life-threatening injuries after a motorcycle crash Saturday in Niagara.
Two motorcycles were northbound on River Street at a high rate of speed just before 6 p.m. Saturday when one driver failed to negotiate a turn and crashed into a wooded area, according to a news release from the Niagara Police Department.
Two people on the motorcycle were transported to Marshfield Medical Center-Dickinson.
The driver of the motorcycle was cited for unreasonable and imprudent speed, failure to maintain control of the vehicle, passing in a no-passing zone, non-registration of an auto and operating a motorcycle without the proper license.
The accident remains under investigation.
