‘Vegas Night’ fundraiser event to benefit Communities that Care

MENOMINEE — Communities that Care of Marinette and Menominee Counties will be hosting its second annual “Vegas Night” fundraiser on Friday, Nov. 1 at Pullman House, or Whistle Stop, in Menominee.

Vegas Night is a fun and interactive event for adults 21 and older with doors opening at 6:30 p.m. and activities to be held from 7 to 9:30 p.m.

Attendees will experience fun and excitement “Vegas-style” without the real-life risk. A professional outside company will run tables with attendees earning chances to win a variety of prizes. There will also be a variety of additional large-ticket raffle items at the event. Must be present to win.

Tickets are just $30 each if purchased by Monday. Fee includes appetizers, desserts, stack of funny money (no cash value), and bottomless “Mocktail” punch, and soda. A cash bar will be open. From Tuesday through Nov. 1 or until sold out, tickets will be $35 per person. Tickets must be purchased in advance and will not be available at the door.

Attendees are welcome to donate, cash only please, at the event for additional play. Reminder that only those 21+ are allowed to purchase tickets and attend the event.

All funds raised will go back to CTC to build a sustainability fund for future prevention activities to target youth substance use risk and protective factors in the community after federal grant expiration.
