LAPP opens logo contest
IRON MOUNTAIN — Dickinson County high school artists will have the chance to show off their talents with the Lake Antoine Park Partners logo contest.
The LAPP board is seeking a new logo that showcases the mission statement of the non-profit organization: To preserve, improve, promote and protect Lake Antoine Park in Dickinson County for the use and benefit of the general public, LAPP president Allison Lucier said.
The artwork selected will receive a $200 cash prize.
The contest is open to all students attending Dickinson County public and private high schools, the Intermediate School District or registered homeschool programs.
Entries must come through the school’s art teacher, as they will make sure each piece incorporates LAPP’s mission.
Designs must be submitted to LAPP by Dec. 13. Judging will take place at the board’s January meeting.
