1 min read

NORWAY -- The Norway High School Leo Club recently had a successful pizza luncheon, bringing together students and Lions members for a cause that matters.

The event featured two special guest speakers: Christine Smith from U.P. Lions Childhood Cancer and District Governor Scott Kwarciany.

Smith delivered an inspiring and heartfelt message about the impact of childhood cancer and the work being done through the Lions to support affected children and their families.

Her dedication to raising awareness and promoting early detection left a strong impression on all who attended.

Kwarciany followed with remarks highlighting the importance of youth involvement in service organizations like the Leo and Lions Clubs.

He commended the Leo Club for their commitment to community service and encouraged students to continue being a force for good.

The luncheon not only provided a delicious break from the regular school day, but also educated attendees on meaningful issues and celebrated the power of student-led initiatives.

The Leo Club extends their thanks to all who participated and supported the event.
