DDA receives grant for POS

The Dickinson Area Community Foundation recently awarded a $500 Community Impact Grant to Iron Mountain’s Downtown Development Authority. This grant was made possible with a matching grant from the Pasahow Family Fund. The grant will allow the purchase of additional iPads to use as a “point of sale” system at local events, which should speed processing entrance and ticket purchases. From left are Tim McCauly, DDA program director; Tamara Juul, DACF director; and Katherine Mentel, DDA events coordinator. The Community Foundation's mission is to enhance and strengthen local communities now and for generations to come. For more information on available grant funding, contact Juul at 906-774-3131, or go to their website at www.dickinsonareacf.org.
