Fashions may have changed, but the tradition of the annual event remain the same — food, animals, rides and entertainment.

Market and breeding animal entries — along with rabbit, poultry and eggs — arrive today at the Dickinson County Fairgrounds in Norway.

The 115th-annual event officially opens at 5 p.m. Thursday and will conclude at 5 p.m. Monday.

The carnival will run from 4 to 11 p.m. Thursday. Grandstand entertainment features the WUMPA Truck Pull at 6 p.m.

Admission to the fairgrounds is $6 a day or $20 for the five-day pass, which includes the charge for the grandstand shows.
