Problem-solving workshop in August at Bay IM campus

IRON MOUNTAIN — Bay College will offer a new workshop, Practical Problem Solving, designed to provide individuals with the tools, techniques and confidence to tackle real-world challenges and get results.

This eight-hour workshop, led by instructor Nick Fornetti, will be 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays, Aug. 19 to Aug. 28, at the Iron Mountain campus.

Through hands-on, interactive learning, participants can learn how to clearly define and analyze problems, uncover root causes using structured methods and develop actionable, sustainable solutions. The workshop also emphasizes building confidence in navigating challenges and effectively leading change.

This training is ideal for professionals seeking to enhance leadership and decision-making skills, community members aiming to make confident choices and students looking to gain practical tools for real-world success. Attendees will leave with enhanced confidence in addressing complex workplace issues, increased clarity, greater influence through evidence-based communication, and strategies that translate across industries, teams and careers.
