Archaeology fair Oct. 18 at Marquette museum
MARQUETTE — The annual Archaeology Fair will take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Eastern time on Saturday, Oct. 18, at the Marquette Regional History Center.
The center is joining hundreds of organizations around the world to celebrate International Archaeology Day. Discover how the fair has grown over 13 years, providing a look at archaeology in the upper midwest region and worldwide. Hands-on learning will be available for all ages, with multiple booths both indoors and outdoors featuring various displays and activities.
The fair is included with general admission and museum membership at the sponsor level on up. The rates are: adults $10, military $8, students $4, museums for all EBT cardholders $5 for adults and free for children age 17 and younger.
