New Free Little Library at North Elementary
North Elementary School has announced the opening of a new Free Little Library on its school grounds. The Lynne Lillge Little Library was made possible through the generous sponsorship of Chelsey Lynne Lillge, known as the Italic Illustrator. Lynne designed and built the library, adding her own creative touch with hand-painted illustrations of beloved characters. She also donated dozens of books, including works by local authors, to help launch the project. North Elementary would like to thank Mrs. Lillge for her generous contribution. The Free Little Library will be open to students, families, and community members with the simple guiding principle: “Take a book, leave a book.” The goal is to foster a love of reading, encourage literacy, and provide free access to books for all ages. The community is invited to visit the library, borrow a book, and share in the joy of reading. From left are, front Row: Andy Mendini, Carter Juul, Thea Fehrle, Eleanor Gendron; back row: Cooper Webber, Chelsey Lynne Lillge, Camille McCarthy, Ruthie Yoder.
