Archaeology Fair set for Saturday in Marquette

MARQUETTE — The 13th-annual Archaeology Fair will be from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Eastern time Saturday at the Marquette Regional History Center.

The public is invited to attend the open house-style event.

The center is joining hundreds of organizations around the world to celebrate International Archaeology Day. Attendees can learn how the fair has grown and get a look at archaeology in the upper Midwest region and worldwide. There will be hands-on learning for all ages with multiple booths both indoors and outdoors featuring various displays and activities.

Admission is $10 for adults; $8 for seniors and military; $4 for students, including college students with ID; and $3 for children 12 and younger.

Museums for all Electronic Benefit Transfer cardholders are $5 for adults and free for children age 17 and younger.
