The Dickinson Area Community Foundation recently awarded a $500 Community Impact Grant to the Dickinson Area Veteran Alliance. This grant was made possible with a matching grant from the Pasahow Family Fund. The money will assist with costs of the annual Veterans Day Dinner that will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 11, at American Legion Post 145 in Norway. Donations to support the dinner can be made payable to DCAVA, and mailed to P.O. Box 2913, Kingsford, MI 49801.
