KINGSFORD — A fire at a home at 305 Lyman St. in Kingsford was extinguished Monday, with no injuries reported, Kingsford Public Safety Department said.

The fire was reported in a 911 call at 11:50 a.m. and the residence was unoccupied at the time, KPSD said in a news release.

The fire, which remains under investigation, is believed to have started in the southeast corner of the structure, officers said.

Assisting KPSD were Integrity Care Ambulance, the Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office and Iron Mountain Police Department.
