IRON MOUNTAIN — CSA Air’s first T-Time golf tournament fundraiser proved to be a great success, raising $10,000 for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
“From the perfect weather to the generous support from the community, the day was filled with meaningful moments and great golf — all in support of a worthy cause,” said event coordinator Candice Faust, CSA Air Inc. operations manager/recruiter. “We are so grateful to be able to present a check in that amount to St. Jude.”
A total of 11 teams took part in T-time for the Children of St. Jude on Sept. 24 at TimberStone Golf Course in Iron Mountain. Members of the first-place team were Ethan Silverstone, Grant Wickham, Nathan Judson and Brett Labre.
“Everyone had so much fun,” Faust said. “I had sponsors, volunteers and teams all say they are coming back next year, as well as bringing others with them.”
Special guests in attendance were Ryan and Lindsay Behrend, the parents of Triston and Sam Behrend, founders of T-time.

Triston Behrend hosted the first golf fundraiser in 2017 at the Wild Pine Golf Course in Hermansville. He continued with the annual event until he left for college and his brother, Sam, took over. Last year, they announced it would be the final year for the charity event, as Sam was also heading to college.
Sharing the same passion for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and a longtime T-time sponsor, CSA Air committed to continue with the cause.
“Ryan and Lindsay (Behrend) were so excited how the day went, and overjoyed that CSA Air is continuing with the boys’ mission,” she said.
Faust noted they also had some added excitement with one participant coming close to a hole-in-one. “She was about 12 to 18 inches away — I wish she would have had it,” she said.
Beyond the generosity, Faust noted how much it meant to her to see the community come together to collaborate to make T-time a success. “It truly was amazing to witness,” she said.
Next year’s T-Time for the Children of St. Jude will take place on June 18, 2026, at TimberStone Golf Course in Iron Mountain.
Faust noted she has a lot of new ideas for the 2026 fundraiser, including getting more community involvement. She also hopes founders Triston and Sam Behrend will be in attendance.
They are also in the process of reaching out to St. Jude for the possibility to have a child or two who has been or is being treated at St. Jude to either be involved in the outing or prior to the event.
“We want people to see where their money is going and how it helps these children,” Faust said.
She added that with the first year under their belts, they can now focus on continuing to grow the event. “We can’t wait for another memorable day on the course,” she said.
CSA Air extends a heartfelt thank you to all the partners, donors, golfers and volunteers for their role in making this event possible. “Your support is helping make a difference in the lives of children and families who need it most,” she said.
In addition, CSA Air’s sister company, Mountain Air Cargo, raised $50,000 with The Purple Dash for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in October.
The virtual 5K event was created during the pandemic as a creative way to raise money for St. Jude.
