Breitung Township Board will have a budget meeting at 4:30 p.m. today at the township hall in Quinnesec. The board’s regular meeting will follow at 6 p.m. today. The agenda includes bid openings for financial audit services and cemetery mapping services, and a discussion on the township’s information technology service provider.

Iron Mountain Downtown Development Authority will have an events committee meeting at noon Tuesday at Contrast Coffee, 1202 Carpenter Ave., Iron Mountain.

Iron Mountain Zoning Board of Appeals will have a public hearing at 4 p.m. Monday, Dec. 1, at Iron Mountain City Hall on zoning variance applications from Bill Neuens Realty LLC. There is a request to remove the right-of-way buffer along Michigan Avenue to reduce the residential buffer from 10 feet to 5 feet and pave all required buffer space at 945 Oslo Ave. There is also a request to reduce the right-of-way buffer by 1 foot along West Sixth Street and pave the required buffer areas with the proposed parking lot at 514 Chapin St. For more, go to www.ironmountainmi.gov.
