North Dickinson County School’s fifth grade students unanimously voted this year to donate to the Toys for Tots program rather than exchange gifts in their classroom. Michigan State Police Trooper Geno Basanese, who is involved in the Toys for Tots program as well as the school, visited the students and “stuffed” his patrol vehicle with toys for distribution.
