MARQUETTE — Folksy words and music are coming once again to the Peter White Public Library at 6:30 p.m. Eastern time Wednesday, Dec. 10, for the Northwords & Music Christmas Sounds show.

The special guest star will be one-man musical extravaganza Whiskey Ryan and all of the regulars, including the old storyteller and author of the upcoming “North Words: A Year in Poetry,” B.G. Bradley; two-time Upper Peninsula poet laureate and author of the recent release “A Bigfoot Beastiary and Other Wonders,” Marty Achatz; actress Jacque Love; and the house band, Big Lake Acoustic, featuring singers/songwriters Linda Smith and Seamus Collins.
