The Dickinson Area Community Foundation recently awarded a $500 Community Impact Grant to the Lake Antoine Park Partners for the upcoming event Kites Over Awesome Lake Antoine, or KOALA. The grant was partially funded with a matching grant from the Pasahow Family Fund. The event, which will feature 29 unique show kites in an aerial demonstration on the ice, will be from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 10, at Lake Antoine Park in Iron Mountain. Admission is free to the public. Additionally, there will be family-friendly activities with raffles and displays.
