Kingsford Middle School Quiz Bowl team took fourth in the 42nd Upper Peninsula Junior High Quiz Tournament on Dec. 6 in Bark River. The team won their preliminary bracket, outscoring the four teams they played 870-310. After the final rounds, they placed 4th overall — out of 20 teams. Team members with their medals are Valentin Rodrigez, Owen Farrington (alternate), Abel Sullivan (alternate), Jackson Forstrom, Liam Sullivan (captain), Everett Olson, and Grady Anderson. The team is coached by Colleen Driscoll.
