IRON MOUNTAIN — Dickinson County Sheriff Aaron Rochon has issued his monthly report for December.

The road patrol served 86 civil process papers, investigated 152 complaints, handled 38 accidents, issued 24 citations and 198 verbal warnings, made 29 arrests — nine of which were for outstanding warrants — and completed 198 property checks.

The K-9 officer was involved in two searches — both for local agencies.

The correctional center had 56 bookings, with an average daily booking of 1.8 and an average daily population of 58.3. The average female population was 9.8.

The dispatch center handled 644 911 calls, 3,534 non-911 calls, 1,300 calls for law enforcement service, 559 calls for ambulance service and 72 calls for fire service.

Twelve individuals assigned to the sheriff’s work van logged 228 hours at the courthouse and jail, cleaning, sweeping and painting at the sheriff’s office and garage; shoveling and cleaning a Ford Airport hangar; and local food pickups.
