Five Kingsford High School students In Colleen Driscoll's classes will be published in the YoungWriters "Fright Club 2025 — Nightmare Tales" anthology. The students authored a creative writing piece of flash fiction — a story of exactly 100 words — on an "eerie" topic. The students' pieces were chosen for perception, imagination, creativity, expression, originality and use of language. The school will receive a complimentary copy of the book, and the students received bookmarks and certificates. Additionally, the students will now be competing for cash prizes.
