IRON MOUNTAIN — Dickinson County Sheriff Aaron Rochon has issued his monthly report for February.

The road patrol served 71 civil process papers, investigated 154 complaints, handled 27 accidents, issued 31 citations and 195 verbal warnings, made 27 arrests — eight of which were for outstanding warrants — and completed 154 property checks.

The K-9 officer conducted six searches, including four for local agencies, and had one deployment resulting in an arrest.

The correctional center had 69 bookings, with an average daily booking of 2.5 and an average daily population of 55.7.

The dispatch center handled 518 911 calls; 3,358 non-911 calls; 1,469 calls for law enforcement service; 487 calls for ambulance service; and 49 calls for fire service.

Twelve individuals assigned to the sheriff’s work van in February logged 330 hours at the sheriff’s office/courthouse and garage, shoveled and cleaned the terminal at Ford Airport and shoveled steps and set up signs at Pine Mountain.
