Outdoor education talk on Tuesday in Florence
FLORENCE, Wis. — The monthly Florence County outdoor education talk will take place at 6 p.m. Tuesday in the lower-level conference room at Wild Rivers Interpretive Center & Gift Shop in Florence.
Attendees will learn about what adaptations and strategies Wisconsin’s wildlife uses to survive winter. Tom Carlson, Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources wildlife biologist, will provide a deeper dive into several species that call Florence County home and how you can help provide habitat to aid in their winter survival.
The center is at 5628 Forestry Drive, on the corner of U.S. 2 and Highway 101/70 in Florence. The presentation can also be viewed virtually via Zoom by registering at www.ExploreFlorenceCounty.com.
