MARINETTE — A 43-year-old Iron Mountain woman was arrested Sunday afternoon for suspected drug activity after a traffic stop in the Town of Middle Inlet in Marinette County.

At 1:20 p.m. Sunday, Marinette County deputies made a traffic stop on U.S. 141 near Moonshine Hill Road in Middle Inlet, during which K-9 officer Lobo located 39.045 grams of cocaine as well as other drugs and drug paraphernalia, Marinette County Sheriff Randy Miller said in a news release.

The woman, whose name was not released, has been referred to the Marinette County Prosecutor’s Office, Miller said.

Also, a 48-year-old Pembine, Wis., woman was arrested on drug-related charges after an incident April 16, Miller said in an earlier news release.

Deputies were dispatched at 10:30 p.m. April 16 to a Dam Road residence in the Town of Beecher for an active physical disturbance, Miller said. One person had left but was found a short distance away by one of the responding deputies.

During that traffic stop, K9 officer Vinny turned up a total of 99.16 grams of methamphetamine, as well as other drugs and drug paraphernalia, Miller said in the news release.

Online records show a criminal complaint electronically filed Wednesday with Marinette County Circuit Court against Addy Daniele Shigouri on six charges —

— Possession with intent — amphetamine/methamphetamine/etc. (>50 g), with a modifier of second or subsequent offense, a class C felony;

— Possession with intent — THC (>200-1,000 g), with a modifier of second or subsequent offense, a class H felony;

— Battery, with a modifier of domestic abuse, a class A misdemeanor;

— Criminal damage to property, with a modifier of domestic abuse, a class A misdemeanor;

— Disorderly conduct, with a modifier of domestic abuse, a class B misdemeanor; and

— Possession of drug paraphernalia, a class U misdemeanor.
