NWS warns travel could be difficult into weekend
Mixed precipitation is expected to continue into the weekend, potentially leading to hazardous road conditions and power outages, the National Weather Service said.
A winter storm watch is in effect until 1 a.m. Friday, with snow and sleet accumulations up to 2 inches and ice accumulations up to 0.2 inches in the Dickinson County area.
“The accumulating sleet will be difficult to remove,” forecasters said.
A secondary system is expected to move through the area Friday night and Saturday, bringing another round of mixed precipitation.
The forecast for Easter Sunday is partly sunny, with a high near 42.
