Maykayli Carlson
CRYSTAL FALLS — Forest Park Schools has announced its top 10 seniors in the Class of 2026.
— Maykayli Carlson has made every honor roll all four years while being involved in softball, basketball and the marching and concert band.
Outside of school, Carlson has worked at Slivensky Hardware and Lumber all four years most days after school and the weekends. In her free time she enjoys reading, spending time with friends and family, driving around and drawing.
After graduation, Carlson plans to study elementary education at Edgewood University.
— Ava Fischer has lived in Crystal Falls for the her entire life. In high school, she participated in student council and Business Professionals of America as well as many others that are offered by my school and community.

Ava Fischer
Fischer was class treasurer for all four year and a captain on the varsity volleyball team the past two years. She was awarded Miss U.P. Volleyball for the 2025-26 season, as well as high honors such as first team all state.
She will work at Young’s Golf, Recreation & Dining this summer.
Fischer plans to study biomedical and electrical engineering and play on the volleyball team at the Milwaukee School of Engineering.
— Aiden Johnson is a member of the honor roll. During his junior year he was in Welding 1 and this year he is taking building trades at the DIISD technical education center.
He is also a part of the Iron Area Health Foundation student leadership team.

Outside of school, Johnson enjoys hunting, fishing, cooking and being outdoors.
After graduation, Johnson plans to go into the trades.
— Jonnie Ketola was class president and has participated in varsity softball, varsity cheer, Business Professionals of America, Youth Advisory Committee, and National Honors Society.
She works as a cashier at Crystal Fresh Market during the school year and as a lab assistant at White Water Associates in Amasa during the summer.
Ketola plans to major in biochemistry and molecular biology at Michigan State University.

Jonnie Ketola
— Lauren Reed maintained a 4.0 grade-point average in high school career and was a National Honor Society member.
She played clarinet for five years in the marching and concert band and earned the role of section leader. She also studied graphic communications for two years at the Dickinson-Iron Intermediate School District Tech Center, winning first place in several design competitions both years.
Reed plans to pursue a bachelor’s degree in art and design at Northern Michigan University.
— Hannah Ruppert has been involved in volleyball and track, and afterschool clubs. In band, she attended events such as band festival, marching band, and earned a top score in Solo & Ensemble and honors band.
Outside of school, Ruppert enjoys playing her saxophone at different local establishments and doing ministry work. She also works part-time as a Certified Nursing Assistant at the local nursing home.

Lauren Reed
Ruppert plans to explore the nursing program at Bay De Noc Community College toward acquiring her registered nursing license.
— Saima Santi was involved in basketball cheer as well as marching, pep and concert bands, where she also participated in many events outside of the required parades and concerts. She been deeply involved in the art program as well.
Additionally, Santi is a member of the Dungeons and Dragons Club and has been a student advisor from sophomore through senior year. She is a member of the National Honors Society and has volunteered at many band- and art-related fundraisers and events.
In her free time, Santi loves to draw, watch movies, sew, write short stories and poetry, listen to and play music, go hiking, crochet and read horror novels. She works at Fortune Lake Lutheran Camp in the kitchen and as a lifeguard.
Santi plans to pursue a career as an art teacher at Central Michigan University, where she was a Centralis Scholarship finalist and has been accepted into the honors program.

Hannah Ruppert
— Lily Sarder is a member of Business Professionals of America, where she qualified for nationals in her junior and senior years; the National Honor Society; Youth Advisory Committee; and student council. She also participated in basketball, track and field, and cheerleading.
Sarder has worked at Crystal Fresh Market for the past three years, and recently began bartending at Young’s Golf Course.
Outside of school, her favorite thing to do is fly airplanes. Over the past two years, she has spent countless hours studying and flying to earn her private pilot license. This has allowed her to take her friends and family on flights.
After high school, Sarder plans to major in aviation flight science at Western Michigan University, with the goal of becoming an airline pilot.
— Brady Wagoner was in Business Professionals of America his senior year, making it to state competition in desktop publishing. He also participated in track his freshman and senior years, while maintaining a job at Crystal View Golf Course through high school. In the summer of his junior year, he attended Boys State at Grand Valley State University in Grand Rapids, which he described as one of the best weeks of his life.
Wagoner plans to study astronomy and astrophysics at Central Michigan University with the goal of working at NASA in the future.
— Elsie Williams was in many sports and extracurricular activities in school. As a four-year participant in volleyball, basketball, and track and field, some of her most memorable achievements include scoring 1,000 points in basketball, and creating 1,000 assists in volleyball. She was also on student council and in class government as vice president, president of Business Professionals of America and the National Honors Society, and a member of the Youth Advisory Committee. She was the drum majorette of the marching band this past school year.
Outside of school, Williams enjoy reading, spending time with her friends and family, listening to music and being at the family lake house.
Williams plans to pursue a career in physical therapy at Grand Valley State University.
Forest Park High School will have graduation ceremonies at 10 a.m. Saturday in Eddie Chambers Gymnasium in Crystal Falls.
