‘Radium Girls’ to be performed at IMHS
IRON MOUNTAIN — The Iron Mountain High School Drama Club will present “Radium Girls” at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday, May 15-16, in the auditorium.
This powerful, moving drama tells the true story of the “shining girls” of the 1920s — young factory workers who fought for justice in the face of corporate greed and a changing world.
The students have spent countless hours of rehearsal to bring this poignant story to life.
D. W. Gregory wrote the play, which follows Grace Fryer and the lawsuit in New Jersey. It was published by Dramatists Play Service in 2000.
