Comments sought from community on Dr. Jacobs

Iron Mountain’s Dr. Donald Jacobs recently retired after 66 years in family medicine that saw him deliver babies, make house calls, do surgery and provide health care to generations.

To honor the broad effect Dr. Jacobs has had in the region, The Daily News plans to do an extensive story in Friday’s edition on his almost seven decades in practice.

As a part of this, the public is invited to submit comments on Dr. Jacobs’ role in their lives for the Bouquets section that will be printed in Friday’s edition. These can be emailed to news@ironmountaindailynews.com; mailed to 215 E. Ludington St., Iron Mountain, MI 49801; or dropped off at The Daily News’ office at 215 E. Ludington St. in downtown Iron Mountain.

The deadline to submit comments is 6 p.m. Central time Wednesday.

Starting at $4.00/week.
