Iron Mountain’s Dr. Donald Jacobs recently retired after 66 years in family medicine that saw him deliver babies, make house calls, do surgery and provide health care to generations.

To honor the broad effect Dr. Jacobs has had in the region, The Daily News plans to do an extensive story in Friday’s edition on his almost seven decades in practice.

As a part of this, the public is invited to submit comments on Dr. Jacobs’ role in their lives for the Bouquets section that will be printed in Friday’s edition. Ludington St. in downtown Iron Mountain.
