The Iron Area Health Foundation has awarded a $500 mini-grant to the West Iron County Elementary School Family Fun Run event. The Family Fun Run will take place Friday and will involve more than 300 early kindergarten to fifth grade students. The elementary students have been participating in a mileage club in their physical education class to prepare for the fun run event. The IAHF supports this healthy, physical outdoor activity for the elementary students at WIC.
