Breitung Township salutes American Legion Post 363

QUINNESEC -- The Charter Township of Breitung has extended its gratitude to members of Carpenter Clash American Legion Post 363 by presenting the organization with a Resolution of Appreciation in recognition of its volunteerism and outstanding service to the community.

Post Commander Lewis Adams and Post Adjutant Gary Chapman accepted the resolution earlier this month on behalf of the organization, representing the many veterans and volunteers who have faithfully served both their nation and communities.

According to the resolution, the Carpenter Clash American Legion Post 363 has exemplified the highest ideals of citizenship, patriotism, and selfless service. Through their volunteer efforts, they have helped preserve and honor the Quinnesec cemetery, ensuring that the sacrifices of veterans are remembered with dignity and respect.

Their continued support of military veterans and their families demonstrates a profound commitment to those who have served our country, the resolution states.

Beyond their direct service to veterans, their presence and participation in community events has strengthened the township and fostered a spirit of unity, pride, and civic responsibility.

"Their members consistently answer the call to serve, giving freely of their time, talents and resources to improve the lives of others," township officials said.
