ISHPEMING -- A card show will take place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Eastern Time on Saturday, Aug. 1, at The Mather, 107 E. Canda St. in Ishpeming.
Organizers say the wide selection of vendors will have collectible cards including Pokemon, sports cards, Magic: The Gathering, One Piece, Yu-Gi-Oh! and more. The card show is open to the public and attendees will be able to buy, sell and trade cards at the show.
"We encourage all ages to join us for this fun event," event organizer Nicole Johnson said. "Our goal is to offer a place for people in the hobby to come together."
It's a great experience getting to meet other people in the trading card community who enjoy sharing in the hobby, Johnson added.
"There seems to be a desire for more card shows in the Upper Peninsula, so we hope to continue to organize more shows in the future," she said.
A few vendor spaces are still available. The cost is $40 for the first table booked and $30 for any additional table.
