Kaleidoscope Jos perform Thursday in Iron Mountain and Norway.
NORWAY — Music in the Park continues Thursday as the Kaleidoscope Jos performs at 7 p.m. at the band shell in downtown Norway.
CJo is Carolyn Jo Weber, and she’s been at Music in the Park previously with a variety of talented groups. She got her start performing with her dad Gary’s musical groups at about age 16, and she’s been singing ever since. Weber merges her powerful voice with the talents of Joni Clare, whose background is in classical, experimental improv and songwriting.
The duo will deliver energetic treatments of many of your favorites across 50 decades of Americana in the form of rock, blues and pop. They’re sure to bring a fun show to the band shell and organizers hope to have another great Music in the Park audience present to hear their performance.
“We hope folks that come into Iron Mountain for this week’s Out to Lunch concert, also featuring the Kaleioscope Jos, will enjoy the afternoon, have a nice dinner in the area and come on down to beautiful band shell park for an extended offering from this talented new duo. It’s hard to believe but this will already be our sixth free performance of this summer’s concert series,” event coordinator Carol Sundstrom said.
A beautiful Thursday night allowed another full park of live music fans to enjoy great blues and even a bit of jazz at the downtown band shell, as the fifth Music in the Park concert of the season took place with the Kind of Blues Band performed music of many of the blues greats.
