SAULT STE. MARIE -- The Michigan Department of Transportation will be performing maintenance on the I-75 Business Spur bridge over I-75 in Sault Ste. Marie, requiring traffic signal changes on the bridge beginning Monday.
Work will be completed from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. Eastern time each night. The work is expected to be completed by Wednesday morning but may extend to Thursday depending on the weather.
Motorists should expect one lane of alternating traffic open on the I-75 Business Spur with temporary traffic signals. The existing ramp signals will be placed in flash mode. A 12-foot lane width restriction will be in place on the bridge during the work.
This project will help ensure continued safe and reliable operation of the roadway.
