Music Jar performs Thursday in Norway

NORWAY -- Music in the Park continues this week as the band Music Jar plays at 7 p.m. Thursday at the band shell in downtown Norway.
Music Jar is a four-piece band from the Green Bay/northeast Wisconsin area, and was last at Music in the Park when the concert series was in its early years. The band has been performing for more than 20 years, and play everything from light rock, country, oldies, top 40 hits and blues.
"Variety is our goal, and you'll hear plenty of your favorites to sing along and even dance to," band member Ryan Phillips stated.
"We hope folks that come into Iron Mountain for this week's Out to Lunch concert with Safe Sax will enjoy the afternoon, have a nice dinner in the area and come on down to beautiful band shell park for a great performance from this talented duo. This will be our fourth 'new' artist or group for 2026, and our eighth free performance of this summer's concert series," event coordinator Carol Sundstrom said.
What a difference a week makes. Beautiful weather greeted live music fans excited to be outside Thursday as the seventh Music in the Park concert took place at the band shell. Finding Feathers performed to a good-sized audience that really seemed to enjoy this fine duo.

In case of inclement weather, concerts will shift to the Crossroads Church (Grace United Methodist/Bethany Lutheran) on Odill Drive, behind the Norway Historical Museum on the east edge of Norway. Check the Norway Music in the Park Facebook page for updates if the weather is questionable.
