Teresa Sawyer Seppala stands at the Trex bench that was delivered to the Village of Alpha and set in front of the Alpha Post Office for all to enjoy. The bench was made possible by Iron County residents and visitors recycling their plastic film at Crystal Fresh Market in Crystal Falls. The program was initiated by Iron County Rise Up Indivisible. It took a half-ton of recycled film to meet the criteria for being awarded the bench. Acceptable plastic included grocery, ice, produce, food storage and bread bags, as well as bubble wrap and wood pellet bags.
