CHASSELL -- Work is expected to begin Monday on repairs to the U.S. 41 bridge over the Sturgeon River in Houghton County.
The Michigan Department of Transportation is investing about $536,000 in the project, which will include expansion joint replacement, deck, substructure and railing patching and crack sealing.
The estimated ending date is Friday, Oct. 23.
Drivers should expect one lane of alternating traffic via temporary signals. A 10-foot lane width restriction will be in place in the work zone during the project.
