FLORENCE, Wis. -- The Aging and Disability Resource Center of Florence County and the Wild Rivers Interpretive Center have collaborated to allow residents to borrow an all-terrain Trackchair between Aug. 17-22.
The Trackchair has triangle tracks that allow individuals with limited mobility to go off-road and enjoy outdoor trails.
The chair was made available through Midstate Independent Living Choices of Stevens Point, Wis. The chair can be reserved from the interpretive center. It will also be available to one person during the next ADRC Hiking Group on Aug. 19 at the Fumee East hiking trail. The group is for those 60 and older.
