IRON MOUNTAIN -- Dickinson County Sheriff Aaron Rochon has issued his monthly report for July.
The road patrol served 75 civil process papers, investigated 223 complaints, handled 25 accidents, issued 100 citations and 260 verbal warnings, made 52 arrests -- 18 of which were for outstanding warrants, including nine felonies -- and completed 217 property checks.
The K-9 officer conducted six searches, including two for local agencies and had three deployments resulting in arrest.
There were nine transports, one to prison and eight miscellaneous.
The correctional center had 94 bookings, with an average daily booking of three and an average daily population of 48.6.
The dispatch center received 845 calls to 911 and 4,740 non-911 calls. There were 1,842 calls for law enforcement service, 503 for ambulance service and 77 for fire service.
Fourteen individuals assigned to the sheriff’s work van in July logged 396 hours at the sheriff’s office, courthouse and garage, Norway-Vulcan Area Schools, Lake Antoine Park, Ford Airport and assisting food pickups.
