MANISTIQUE -- The 29th-annual Manistique Car and Motorcycle Show will take place Friday and Saturday in downtown Manistique.
The event is free to the public and is sponsored by Team Chevy and the Manistique Merchants. Car registration is $25 and includes a shirt.
The Friday night cruise will line up at 6:30 p.m. Eastern time, ahead of the 7 p.m. cruise. This will be followed by a free screening of "American Graffiti" at the Highway 2 Community Drive-in Theater at dusk. The event is sponsored by Larson Automotive.
The car show will be on Saturday, beginning with an 8 a.m. Eastern time registration and lineup. The show opens at 10 a.m., with the awards ceremony at 3 p.m.
Another free event at the Highway 2 Community Drive-in Theater will follow Saturday's events, with a double feature screening of "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" and "The Breakfast Club" sponsored by Wheaty's Pub.
There will also be classes offered for cars, trucks and motorcycles, a trophy presentation, 50/50 raffles, music by Beats by Pete, Elks Chicken BBQ, a Makers Market and more.
