MARINETTE, Wis. -- Marinette County Public Health now offers Community Resource Navigator services at no cost to community members.
This free service provides individualized support to community members who need help finding resources that may include housing, transportation, finding a medical home, food assistance, childcare, or applying for medical insurance.
Anybody is welcome to use this service regardless of location. Resources primarily come from the Marinette County area.
To make an appointment or ask questions about the service, call Marinette County Public Health at 715-732-7670 or stop in during open office hours. Office hours are held at the following locations:
-- Niagara Library, 1029 Roosevelt Road, Niagara, second Friday of each month from 10 a.m. to noon.
-- Marinette County Public Health, 2500 Hall Ave., Marinette, Mondays and Wednesdays from 9 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
-- Stephenson Library, WPS room, 1700 Hall Ave., Marinette, Thursdays from 10 a.m. to noon.
The navigator service is made possible thanks to a grant from the Provident Health Foundation, officials said.
It was developed following a Community Health Needs Assessment conducted by the Community Health Partnership of Marinette and Menominee counties in 2025.
