The group won over audiences across America when, in 1983, they took home the grand prize on Star Search. They signed with Capitol Records in 1984 and never looked back.
Sawyer Brown built a reputation as one of the most electrifying live acts in any genre, touring 275-300 nights a year early in their career and rarely coming off the road. Along the way, they garnered three No. 1 hits, 51 charted singles, 24 albums, and a Grammy Award.
Lead singer and songwriter, Mark Miller, said, "One of the unique things about the band is we don’t really have a lot of love songs. We have life songs."
The band's timeless songs continue to resonate with audiences across the nation, including “Step That Step,” “Some Girls Do,” “Thank God for You” and "The Boys And Me."
Now celebrating more than 40 years together, the band released their documentary "Get Me To The Stage On Time" -- produced by Blake Shelton -- and their new album Desperado Troubadours, their first record in 20 years. Still on the road. And still playing like it's the last night of the tour.
