After a soft opening Monday, Starbucks was expected to be fully open to greet customers today at its new store at 1950 S. Stephenson Ave., Iron Mountain, just north of Walmart.
Planned hours of operation for the new store are 5 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily.
The development is the first at the site since a May 20, 2017, blaze consumed the entire EZ Stop Mobil gas station storefront and part of a Burger King restaurant.
A special use permit for a drive-thru at the site was approved by the city council in May 2024.
Founded in 1971, Starbucks is the world’s largest coffeehouse chain.
