MARINETTE, Wis. -- A Niagara, Wis., man and a Vulcan woman face multiple drug charges after a K-9 officer detected drugs during a Marinette County traffic stop in the town of Grover early Saturday.
Arrested were Jason Mills, 45, of Niagara, and Shannon Unrein, 52, of Vulcan, Marinette County Sheriff Randy Miller said Thursday in a news release.
A sheriff’s deputy stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation on U.S. 41 near Rodney Lane at 5:04 a.m. Saturday. During the stop, K-9 Bouwa was deployed, Miller said.
According to the news release, a total of 48.115 grams of cocaine/fentanyl, 32.055 grams of methamphetamine, 14.770 grams of cocaine and 4.570 grams of black tar heroin was located.
Mills has been charged with possession with intent to deliver cocaine, party to a crime second and subsequent offense; possession with intent to deliver fentanyl, party to a crime second and subsequent offense; possession of cocaine, second and subsequent offense party to a crime; possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine, party to a crime second and subsequent offense; possession of narcotic drugs, second and subsequent offense; maintaining a drug trafficking place, party to a crime second and subsequent offense; and felony bail jumping.
Unrein has been charged with possession with intent to deliver cocaine, party to a crime second and subsequent offense; possession with intent to deliver fentanyl, party to a crime second and subsequent offense; possession of cocaine, second and subsequent offense; possession of methamphetamine; possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine, party to a crime second and subsequent offense; and maintaining a drug trafficking place, party to a crime second and subsequent offense.
The charges are allegations, the sheriff stated.
