MARINETTE, Wis. -- A jury has convicted a Wausaukee, Wis., man on all seven felony counts of sexual crimes against a child after a two-day trial in Marinette County Circuit Court.
Clifton Kirkpatrick, 36, was found guilty Wednesday on two counts of first-degree sexual assault of a child, plus charges that include repeated sexual assault of the same child and exposing a child to harmful materials.
Marinette County Circuit Judge James Morrison ordered a presentence investigation report for sentencing Oct. 23.
The Marinette County District Attorney's Office, which was represented by District Attorney DeShea Morrow, thanked the Marinette County Sheriff's Office, Willow Tree Child Advocacy Center and Family Services of Northeast Wisconsin for their assistance in the case.
