Bay College fair set for Monday and Tuesday

ESCANABA -- Bay College will host the return of the Stay Local, Go Far! college fair starting Monday at the Escanaba Campus and continuing Tuesday in Iron Mountain.
More than 35 colleges, universities, military services and trade schools are expected to take part, according to a Bay news release.
The first college night will be 5:30 to 7 p.m. Eastern time Monday in the Besse Center Galleries at the Bay College Escanaba Campus.
Tuesday will be 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Central time in the Lower Commons of the Bay College Iron Mountain Campus.
Stay Local, Go Far! is an opportunity to meet with representatives from participating institutions to learn about the programs and services they offered. Whether a high school student, currently enrolled as a college student or simply curious about post-secondary education or trade options, this is a chance to see what's out there and get questions answered, Bay states in the release.
"It's not always an easy task getting out of the U.P. This is an event where the colleges, universities, trade schools, and military services come to you. I encourage you to bring your family and friends -- you never know what you'll learn or who you'll meet," said Jessica Beaver, Bay College director of admissions.
Attendees should register ahead of time. Registration is free and open to the public. Attendees can register in three steps:

-- Create a profile with StriveScan; and
-- Select "Sign-up."
Attendees will receive a confirmation barcode sent to their email. This barcode will be scanned at the check-in upon arrival. Additional resources can be found at https://www.michigancollegefairs.org/students.
